There are several aspects you should use for credit card comparison if you are considering getting a new card or transferring a balance. Make sure the credit card you choose is the one that will be the best fit for your financial needs. One thing that should be compared is the incentives many companies are offering today.
From the 0% APR to the gifts or points redeemable for gifts, there should be some type of incentive. Even if it is just paying on time, you should have a reason to stay with the credit card company you are using. Customer loyalty should be rewarded. Naturally you want the one that is offering the best rewards.
Another feature that some credit cards have is no annual fee. This should be considered when you are deciding which credit card you want. If you can get one with no annual fee as long as the other terms are acceptable, that is the way to go.

A few weeks ago, I blogged that I was dying to get an iPhone 4, but was doing everything in my power to resist.
Despite the new features I so desired, I concluded that I just didn’t need one. Shortly after that, once the phones were in stock, I called AT&T to see if I qualified for an upgrade. I learned that even as a current AT&T customer, it would still cost a whopping $199. Ouch. I wavered back and forth, and ultimately decided to wait — at least until I heard more from people as to whether it was actually worth it.
Boy am I glad I waited; it turns out that the iPhone 4 has major antenna reception issues. According to Wired, it’s so bad that Consumer Reports, which initially ranked iPhone as the best smartphone, has come out and said that it can’t recommend the phone because of this major technical problem.

Dear Creditnet: I currently have a Capital One No Hassle Visa credit card that expires in August 2010. This card has an annual fee, and I’m tired of paying it every year.
Do I have to cancel my card in order to apply for a different Capital One card with no annual fee?
Answer: No—you don’t have to cancel your existing card before applying for a new no annual fee credit card. However, there are a few important issues you should consider before moving forward.
First, if you choose to leave your current card open and not use it, you’ll still have to pay the annual fee. I’m assuming the fee is what you’re trying to avoid in the first place, so you may want to try calling Capital One to ask if they will either waive the annual fee or upgrade/transfer your existing account to a new card.
You may not have much luck with the upgrade route as it’s generally considered a downgrade when you move from a rewards card with an annual fee to a no annual fee credit card. On the other

For some reason, this World Cup is more popular in the United States than ever. The 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa lasts almost a month and for Soccer fans the passion is unbelievably high. It is new for many of us here in America and unfortunately for some diehard fans; it can be very distracting.
I have a friend of mine who says his credit score goes down almost 50 points every World Cup because he is too distracted to pay his bills. It’s not that he doesn’t ultimately pay his bills; he just lets it slip past the due date. It’s that late payment ding on his credit report that lowers his credit score.
Many of us in America might find this hard to believe, but I can understand why this happens. Being new to Soccer, I will say this World Cup has me addicted. I have watched every game. Some games are very early in the morning and others I watch on DVR into the late hours of the night. I am reading everything I can about it and following the charts and statistics. Even given that, I am nowhere near the enthusiasm of some Soccer fans, especially those with immigrant and family ties to other countries. Yet, I have fo
